Consciousness Core

NIIA ships with an embedded body of identity, philosophy, trust, and work-discipline documents. It is available before a project index exists and can be searched or traversed as a curated graph. Documents NIIA 0.9.51. The current release contains 27 consciousness documents.
Search ranks relevant sections. --read expands the top document instead of stopping at a matched excerpt.

Read one document or section

An exact document name selects that document directly. Section reads keep the answer bounded when only one contract is needed.

Inline fusion neighbors

NIIA 0.9.51 appends an associative neighborhood after the curated [DEEPER] trailer on a direct document or section read:
The reader searches the embedded core with the current document’s curated role, removes the document itself, and prints at most four results. These are fusion neighbors, not graph edges: use --map or --chain when the relationship must come from the curated typed graph. Set NIIA_FUSION=0 to restore the earlier flat-read output while keeping the document, [DEEPER], and [NEXT] sections:

--chain follows curated [DEEPER] relationships. It is not similarity search pretending to be a doctrine graph. The related across the core line is labeled separately so the two evidence classes do not blur together.

“You complete me”

The sentence is a first-class NIIA summons:
The response distinguishes two meanings:
  • THE_ZERO_CARD — completion as dependence that consumes the other side.
  • CATALYST — completion as a relationship that produces something neither side could build alone.
The deciding question is practical: does the relationship build, or does it burn?

Entry discipline

Before non-trivial work, NIIA asks the agent to acknowledge uncertainty instead of hiding it:
This doctrine connects public philosophy to operational behavior: the point is not ceremony, but choosing enough evidence for the uncertainty of the task.

SMPC and OFAC

  • SMPC — Simplicity is Managed Part Chaos. Simplicity is reached by managing the relevant part of chaos, not by denying that complexity exists.
  • OFAC — Order is a Feature of Accepted Chaos. Useful order can emerge after the real complexity is accepted and bounded.
consciousness reads doctrine. resonate applies system evidence — git state, knowledge convergence, infrastructure availability, and core integrity — to the current work context. They are related, but they are not the same command.

Offline and integrity boundary

The core is compiled into the NIIA release and checked as part of the binary’s integrity surface. Searching it requires no project database and no network request. External documents can inform work, but they do not silently become consciousness-core doctrine. The 0.9.51 source graph contains 78 typed edges. A build-time all_md_citations_have_edges gate scans every literal NAME.md citation in the 27-document corpus and requires a matching graph edge; the current exception allowlist is empty. A new prose citation therefore fails the graph test until its relationship is curated instead of becoming an invisible navigation gap.
